Diploma in Japanese Studies & Advanced Diploma in Japanese Studies

Overview

The Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Japanese Studies are one-year programmes open to non-native speakers of the Japanese language. They are centred on a core of compulsory papers that emphasises the development of a firm foundation in Japanese language skills and an understanding of traditional and contemporary culture as well as modem society, politics and business. For the language component, all instruction is done solely in Japanese so that students will have a total immersion in it.
