The Linwood High School is suburban co-educational school offering its 1,000 students a top education. The school offers a rich multi-cultural environment. Academic Programme
The school offers a wide curriculum at all levels. Senior students are able to choose from a wide range of subjects which include: Accounting, Art, Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Classical Studies, Clothing, Computer Studies, Dance and Drama, Design Technology, Economics, English as a Second Language, French, Geography, Home Economics, History, Horticulture, Information Technology, Japanese, Journalism, Maori, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics. All subjects are offered to University Bursary level.
Extra-Curricular programme
Linwood is nationally recognised for its excellent Performing Arts department and for the quality of its music programmes. May overseas students are part of the school orchestra. In addition a wide range of sporting and cultural activities are offered.
